The William Hill St Leger Festival takes place at Doncaster racecourse and is undoubtedly one of the UK’s most prestigious race weeks attracting thousands of visitors every year. One of the most classic events in the world and the only one available in Yorkshire it offers thrilling racing, fine restaurants and hospitality, fantastic live entertainment and charity races featuring retired celebrity jockeys.
We were proud to have provided the security for the festival this year for the thirteenth time running. The event took place over four days from September 11th to September 14th and despite the Friday falling on the 13th this year and this being our thirteenth time the event was a runaway success and no unlucky incidents occurred.
The charity races such as the Leger Legends raise money for the rehabilitation centre for injured jockeys, Jack Berry house and the Northern Racing College. We take great pride and pleasure in providing our comprehensive and high-quality security services at such a worthy and world respected racing festival and we are happy to say that everyone involved is very much looking forward to next year.
