If you are at a loose end on Saturday 11th July, feel free to join the 1st Security Solutions Ltd team at the Donfield Party in the Park 2015! Held at Cliffe Park from 4pm onwards, this fun and family friendly event will see live music and entertainment like no other, all in aid of a great local charity, with our stewarding on hand to make sure everything proceeds without a hitch.

The Event

The Party in the Park has become a much loved fixture on the events calendar. Visitors can enjoy an informal, free spirited open air concert complete with additional catering and a bar set up on site. People of all ages are welcome to bring along their own food and drink whilst they watch this year’s line-up – the upcoming event promises to be as good as ever, with bands like Showaddywaddy and Mud appearing in addition to Planet Abba and Rule the World.

The concert has been set up in aid of Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.

The Charity

Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity was first set up in 1994 to support Weston Park Hospital, today a pioneering centre for cancer research and treatment.

In that time, the charity has supported vital research, care and treatment programmes, and their fundraising has contributed towards new developments in cancer diagnosis, radiotherapy and chemotherapy among other things. In addition, the Cancer Charity has supported the specialist Teenage Cancer Unit (TCU), a one-of-a-kind facility that provides world class treatment in a safe and friendly environment.

The Hospital

As one of only four hospitals in the UK that are dedicated entirely to the diagnosis, care and treatment of cancer, Weston Park Hospital serves an area encompassing South Yorkshire and the Midlands, including North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire, helping patients from all walks of life through a difficult and often traumatic experience for them and their families.

In fact, our own director, Tony Sheppeck, was treated at the Weston Park Hospital himself in 2010, and like many other people was highly impressed with the professionalism of the staff here and the facilities available to patients.
